The Potteress

Jordan Elise Durbin is a full-time homeschooling nurturer to four boy-creatures and one girl-child, wife to a good man, and caretaker of a gentle-but-effective rodent-hunting Maine Coone named Gruff the Neverbeast, an overly-energetic running-companion boxer who goes by Rosie Cotton, many chickens, several rabbits, and some very hardy goldfish in her pond.  She has a growing collection of raspberry canes, deciduous and evergreen trees, hydrangeas, and roses.  She is not seeking recovery for her gardening habits.  She has an degree in fine art from Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana, where she took more ceramics classes than the school actually offered. She has self-published two children’s books and has contributed to The Cultivating Project since 2018.  When she is not in the studio, she is most likely in her garden or shopping for more roses.  While she and her family currently reside in Tallmadge, Ohio, she has set her face towards the New Jerusalem and anxiously awaits cultivating alongside the Master Artist in Aslan’s Country.
